MeeGo is an open source, Linux project which brings together the Moblin project, headed up by Intel, and Maemo, by Nokia, into a single open source activity. The MeeGo Conference 2010 was located in Dublin, Ireland at the Aviva Stadium, and it was the first conference to bring together the global developer community around MeeGo. The assets seen here were designed by myself, Luis Puga, and Alec Hill under the direction of Marc Anteparra-Naujock.
This welcome kit was given to each conference attendee. Inside of each kit was the attendee's name badge and lanyard, conference t-shirt, journal, pocket guide, and ticket to the Guiness Storehouse party.
One side of the pocket guide features maps I created for each floor of Aviva Stadium as well as a walking map from each hotel to the stadium. The other side of the pocket guide features a schedule designed by Luis Puga that appears across many assets throughout the conference.
The design of this program was a join effort between myself and Luis Puga. It's a 36 page, full color booklet that featured maps, schedules, bios, and advertisements. The images below are a small sampling of the work.
For the event, Alec Hill created a series of window clings for directional signage, and Luis Puga and I created window clings of the conference schedules. Among the other event graphics we created there were pop-up directional signs, room schedules, stage graphics, and keynote speaker posters.
